Liverpool buses

Liverpool City Centre has two major bus stations - Paradise Street Bus Station and the Queen Square Bus Station. Other main bus stops can be found at Victoria Street, Sir Thomas Street, London Road and Renshaw Street.

Liverpool is well served by a number of bus companies, operating routes all over the city. Two of the principal bus operators are Arriva North West, and CMT Buses.

National Express

National Express is the largest scheduled coach service provider in Europe. In the UK the distinctive white National Express coaches operate to 1000 destinations and carry over 16 million customers a year.

    Arriva bus Arriva is one of the largest bus operators in the area, and it is a major employer in the region.
    We have 20 depots operating a network of over 200 routes. The largest of these, Speke (in south Liverpool), has 138 buses and 300 drivers running on 14 main routes in the area. The company is proud of the improvements it has made to the quality of public transport, including its investment of over 20 million in the purchase of new vehicles over the past three years.
